Nuestra Historia: Latino Immigration to Kansas City Kansas - As the name implies, this is an oral history project seeking to document the experience of Latino immigrants in KCK. Needed: interviewers, photographers.

 

Art Department promo videos - This will be a series of short videos – between 30 seconds and three minutes – promoting the Art Department’s majors and course offerings. Needed: writers, videographers, video editors.

 

Student Organizations brochure - The Student Activities office would like to produce a brochure promoting the college’s student organizations. Needed: writers, photographers, editors, layout, web design.

 

Cut Up the Constitution - This web site will invite users to imagine how our country might be different if parts of the Constitution never existed. Pages will include information about why specific provisions were made part of the supreme law of the land and how they’ve affected people in the real world. Needed: researchers, writers.

 

Advocate history studies - Starting with a theme (such as “The Vietnam War” or “Elections”), these studies will compile articles from the Advocate, the college’s student newspaper. Needed: researchers, editors, writers.

 

Quindaro Ruins Google Maps - This project will create reference points (with descriptive text and photos) on Google Maps for the buildings and other points of interest in the Quindaro Ruins. The project may expand to include other points of interest in the KC metro area. Needed: writers, photographers.

 

AHSS profiles - Speech professor Don Black came up with the idea for a series of personality profiles documenting the faculty, staff and students of the Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences Division. Needed: writers, photographers.
